We're so glad you're here!

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod comes from the Protestant Reformation, which began in 1517 when Martin Luther and other Christians called the church back to the Bible and to salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Compared with Baptists, we place more emphasis on God working through Baptism and Communion; compared with the Church of Christ, we practice infant baptism and teach that these gifts are from God, not human works; and compared with Roman Catholics, we do not follow the pope and believe the Bible alone is the final authority.

Here at POP (Prince of Peace), our Sunday Service is reverent and liturgical, meaning it follows a set order centered on God’s Word and the Lord’s Supper. Our service includes an opening invocation, confession and forgiveness, Bible readings, a sermon, prayers, hymns (songs), and Communion.

Complimentary coffee is served before and after worship for all to enjoy.

An unstaffed nursery room is available if little ones need a break during the service.

After Worship Service, a family hosts snacks in our Fellowship Hall, followed by Sunday school for every age.

We’re glad you’re here and invite you to join us as we worship, learn, and grow together in the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
